What is up with this Cayenne?
What is up with this Cayenne?
I receved this email from 9magazine.com
Does anyone have any ideas about this Cayenne?
Dear Readers,
On my way back from this weekends SoCal Porsche events, I happen to roll up on a very interesting Cayenne being towed across I-10 in Arizona. It had a mud flap that went all the way across, the the thing on top was strapped down to Cayenne with special hooks in the glass.
Anyone know what this is, or who this things belongs to? I followed it for about 60 miles before I had to pull off for fuel.
Let me know guys!
Brian

I've seen James Cameron use a similar matte black painted ML55. I guess the matte black paint is to prevent unwanted reflections during filming? Nonetheless there is something menacing about a matte blacked out cayenne. Anyone do this yet? Maybe I should try it
I saw that Cayenne in downtown LA last week, they were filming something. Got to tag along behind it for a couple of blocks before it turned in to the blocked off street area.
Good testament to how solid the Cayenne is built, how many SUV's can you mount a huge camera crane on and still whip around town? LOL
anyway, it was really cool to see it in action.

Me too ... in fact I still have the episode on our DVR. The Cayenne is a modified CTT.
Here's the segment that was aired on YouTube.
Actually, it (the CTT Camera Car) was a segment on RedlineTV. The CTT Camera Car is manufactured by Pursuit Systems.
