Recall on 08 Cayenne V6
Anyone get the letter in the mail about this?
Found that online.
Porsche is recalling about 5,900 Cayenne SUVs from the 2008 model year with V6 engines to fix a fuel line problem.
The automaker said movement of the engine could cause the fuel line to rub against cladding in the engine compartment. The problem causes a knocking sound and could leave some marks on the fuel line.
Dealers will reroute the fuel line to solve the problem.
The recall covers 5573 Cayennes sold in the United States and 392 sold in Canada. The SUVs covered by the recall were built from the start of the 2008 model year through January 18, Porsche said.
