Hello guys,

Today, I started my car up, turned the volume of the music up, it was soo loud, and drove off. After 5 minutes, I realized that my parking brake was on. I don't know what kind of damage I gave to my parking brake and your comments will be appreciated. Should I ask the dealer to inspect it or replace it? Thanks

 

Is it acting up?? If so, have the stealer check it otherwise you only likley burned off pad...

 

probably no damage if you didn't go too fast. you may want to check the pads and make sure the brake pedal feels normal. if not, replace brake fluid and possibly rear pads.

my parents once drove 10 miles with parking brake on. i knew something was wrong when the brake pad was soft and i can smell something burning. thankfully, it wasn't my porsche.

 

well, brakes are still working, so that means no damage at all???
