S Going In For Service, Advice Needed

Hi Folks,

My S is going in for service in a week or so and I want to be sure I don't forget anything. Here's what they're doing:

Oil change
Software update for Lurching
Recall for front seat
TSB for key fob range
TSB for dripping rear washer

Did I forget anything and does anyone know the TSB number or software version that I should reference for the lurching problem?

TIA,
Paul

Hi Paul.

'Software update for Lurching'....What's this about? And what year is your Cayenne?

Lurching

The lurching is a hesitation on the S (not V6 or Turbo) when the gas pedal is pressed. Here is a link to a string on another board about it: http://forums1.roadfly.org/porsche/f...5036937-1.html

It can be fixed with a software upgrade but you have to "complain" about the symptom to the service technician. I haven't been able to get the exact version or program number to tell the tech to use for the upgrade (hopefully someone reading this will know) so I'll do my best to be assertive that he find the right program and upgrade it.
