New Rotors NEED INPUT- NEED INPUT

Hi, I am getting ready to change the front rotors and pads on my 2004 CTT 33K miles. Does anyone feel one way or another about the following rotors??? EBC slotted and dimpled, Zimmermann cross drilled, and Frozen Slotted. They are all about the same price. I will most likely use Hawk PADs unless someone has an opinion here as well. Thanks

Smile

Last month I installed four solid Zimmerman rotors, Hawk ceramic pads and sensors on my 05 CS. The rotors cost about $400 and the pads from Tire Rack were about $250. They rotor/pad combination has great stoping power without the hated black dust. Initially, I ckecked into buying cross-drilled rotors but couldn't locate any that were factory drilled - not from an aftermarket company. 1000 miles later I am happy with the results.

Last month I installed on my 05 CS four solid Zimmerman rotors, Hawk ceramic pads, and sensors. The rotors cost about $450 and the pads from Tire Rack were about $250 (the dealer wanted over $1000 just for the front brakes!!!). This rotor/pad combo has proven to provide good, reliable stopping power without the hated black dust. Initially, I tried to locate and purchase factory Zimmerman cross-drilled rotors - not the Zimmerman rotors that are cross-drilled by an aftermarket company. After some time, I gave up and went with the above. 1000 miles later I'm very happy with the results. Hope this helps.
