Does your cayenne have a cd changer in the back? I want to reinstall my gw500 at te front so I can have access to the iPod and use my iPhone. I tried installing it behind the nav first but I think my dip switches were wrong. I looped the optical back at the CDC and put it in line but it kept giving me a missing amp error so I went to the back and installed it at the CDC. What were your dip switch settings behind the radio? Or if anyone can help.

You most likely removed the wrong optical cable. The amp and CD changer are right next to each other.

Nope, didn't remove the wrong optical cable, it came out of the back of the cd changer and I had looped it there, I just don't think the dip switchs were set and since there's a lack of support for dension products anywhere I couldn't figure it out so I just installed it in the back but would like to run it in the front if anyone has an idea as to what I need to do with it. All the step by step installs I've seen have been with it installed in the back and that was the only option that worked instead of fighting it all day.

I have clearly a jailbroken iPhone and looking forward to have an evidence that it works properly with dension 500 and BTA.
Is it possibile that the iPhone jailbreak affects its BT communication?
Thanks

I stream from iPhone using A2DP all the time on many lowly head units. Works great.

It can be done. My Dension unit is installed in the front. In fact, inside my glovebox together with the USB input and iPod cable. The module containing the switch (to switch between the iPod and CDC plus the aux input), I have it underneath the dash so it would be accessible if I wanted to switch between the iPod and the CDC. My indy did the install while I was away on a trip, therefore, I do not have any step-by-step pics. All I know is that he mentioned that it was a PITA to route the wire (between the CDC & Dension unit) within the interior panels of which he had to remove piece-by-piece.
