I hope not much louder than the others; I've searched for different designs on catbacks, and there are two or lets say three main different designs, besides the ones that are from one piece(at least the exterior is): one is a simple direct routing like you have done and for the S&TT will have both pipes going dirrectly into the mufllers, and the others have tried different styles like adding before the mufflers ANOTHER X pipe (dont see why cause the oem has allready the xpipe there), and others have done the catback using 2 inlets&2 outlet mufflers, and they have created a sort of another xpipe there between them - guess that will reduce the noise much better. Another thing that I'm thinking is using 2 ROUND mufflers, not OVAL- I've seen today a Touareg (Diesel) and they were looking great, I do have to pick one.
for doing it, a good friend of mine will help me to do the catback, he has good skills in soldering metals, and also has anything that need in order to do it, from small cnc machine, to bigg plasma cutter - we will try to get a signature over this catback as well, and from TIG to what you think of you will need - no he doesnt have YET a mandrell but I dont need it now. he's not in the Auto bussines and doesnt want to become part of it at all, cause he's out of his head with his work.
I hope it will all come good, tomorow I'll be under the knife , a knee problem, but I've heard that in a week or so I'll be on my feet again.
here is just a teaser,or lets say a proof of his work. :)
