New best

Tonight was the last night Houston Raceway Park was open for the season/year. I figured with the dry cold weather it was a good night to run it. No disappointments with the 13.604@101.67mph best. All stock, 04 CTT. Now all I need are some mods...

Mods - probably the bypass pipes and an aftermarket program. Possibly going with the S intercoolers and related piping as well. I suppose if I go crazy I may send the torque converter off to get the stall speed increased.

Wheels are the stock 20" that came in 04 and the stock 275/40 tires.

It's a down-the-road kind of mod. I still have CPO warranty going so that one would have to wait a couple of years. The beauty of that mod is that it can be done - there are a couple of shops who can perform the service of cutting it open and machining it to increase the stall speed. I had one done for my Nissan Titan a few years ago and was the first person to do that. IPT did the work. And I also had the quickest Titan in the US for a while. And I'm in the process of parting out my Subaru Forester, which was also the quickest/fastest forester in the US as well. No Youtubes of the Titan I but here's one of the forester: Increasing the stall speed would help the CTT out dramatically, in the 1/4 mile.

So I'm not new to mods, but this is a new (to me) vehicle and I'm still taking it all in and enjoying it. I have no ambitions of making this the quickest thing in my garage (I have a bike for that).
