It's called a teenager. You send them out 5 minutes before you want to leave and tell em to start your car and put the seats on 5.

Yes, this is true. Porsche have mentioned this fact on their site too.

Yeah, I've heard this as well. I believe it's from the rally car days, when the clock started from before the driver entered the car. the ignition on the left is more accessible.

to the OP, I'm so used to having it on the left now, that I automatically search there for the ignition for every car, not just my P-car.
