I was just told by jake jake@pwr-tech.com at customer service at power tech that you should have the blue tubes and not red... Red tubes are for V-8 S models.. Check with him at the email address above.. He tells me that you might be not getting enough air flow...

I LOVE the intake! The sound is awesome. It sounds like a jet when I really get on it

Wow. Thanks for the info! I just e-mailed EVOMS, which is where I ordered from. They seem to fit fine, but we'll see what they say.

Hes too busy being a nerd and modding..

Get the Cayenne to the next meet, think MaxRPM is doing something. My Cayenne needs a buddy.

Speaking of which, I went w/ Jody (BoxsterGirlie01) above to a few autox events. One in the 996TT and one in the Cayenne TT. The CTT was the ride of the day, people thought it was funny to see an SUV out there. I did decent considering it was my first time, but its a lot of fun. I think you need to make an appearance..

Enough of my rant, I'm just jealous of your new intake. Putting the bypass pipes on Wednesday.. how you like yours??

I've always wanted to try AutoX. I'd imagine the Cayenne does a much better job than people expect

I'll check out the NW section and definitely get out to a meet. Thanks for letting me know about it!

Haven't gotten the bypass on yet. I'm gonna drive to a few local shops tomorrow and see what they say. It's a very simple install, and I'm sure exhaust shops are used to hard-to-reach bolts. If they all turn me down then I'll check out the place you recommended. I'd do it from the start, but I'm in Everett so it's not too close to me. I am planning on moving to the east side within the next few months, however. Driving 25 miles each way on 405 each day is losing its fun

yep! definately check out the NW section. not much going on now with the weather and all....but in the spring and summer we do cars and coffee, photoshoots, drives, dinner's, gokarts, etc. it's a great group!

It seems like shops don't listen to you on the phone. I told them exactly what I wanted to do, went down there, then they turned me away. "Illegal.. blah blah blah".

Seattle996, are you getting yours installed at Cantrell?

Im supposed to get the pipes in on Tuesday. So I'll plan on Wednesday or Thursday. Your in Everett.. its not that far from you. Colin Cantrell seemed like a real nice and knowledgeable guy when I met him my one and only time. I haven't asked about his cost, but I'll call him up on Monday and PM you.

Thanks. I'm not really worried about the cost... because it really is a simple process. I'm just interested in finding a place that will actually do it. Looks like my best bet!

There is better throttle response, but the turbo lag still remains.

Get your ECU tuned by EVO. IMO it's well worth the $2K.
