2005/2006 CS Maintenance Costs?
2005/2006 CS Maintenance Costs?
Assuming I buy a pre-owned 2005/2006 CS with around 30k miles, what are the scheduled maintenance intervals and what's the rough costs of those services at a Porsche dealer. Also, assuming I keep the vehicle until 75k or so, are there any major expenses that are typical between 30-75k. I assume the CS eats brakes (our Audi Q7 does), and they're expensive.
I understand the later years are more reliable, and will focus on a 2006, but I want to fully know what I'm getting into in terms of potential costs. I really would prefer a 2008 for the new engine and better throttle response, but tough to justify in this economy.
Thanks in advance

Definitely buy one from a Porsche dealership and make sure it is CPO. I have read few things gone wrong and it is very expensive to fix. I can't recall right now but it was some sort of shaft (cardon shaft?). Another one is a coolant hose that requires a lot of labor to get to, not sure what year but supposingly it was changed from plastic to metal on later models.
As far as maintenance, I put less than 5,000 miles/ yr so I just go in for oil change once a year. It's about $250 and I think factory recommends every 20k. Flushing the brake system every 2 yrs - about $150. I just read on another forum brakes for front only is $800 and I think that's including the rotors. I believe all Porsche dealerships tends to change the rotors instead of turning them. Lastly, I don't buy the packaged "deal" services they offer because other than oil change, it's just a check list.
