Just replaced this part last week... apparently it is a very common issue as my Porsche dealer had them in stock and the price was around $20. Don't have the part number off hand but not an expensive fix! Just two bolts to remove on replacement and you only have to fold the bottom seat up to get to them.

thanks for the reply reborn, i ordered two seat belt buckles at dealer today, and I ended up paying around 40 each. funny thing was that they told me $470 for installation, they said there is some computer stuff hooked up to the seatbelt buckles. Once i get the buckles, i will try myself first.

canberk, yes it needs car wash, tomorrow i will

indeed, after i ordered the buckles, i was thinking about trying another dealer next time. I even asked the guy at the dealership that (as Reborn mentioned) i was thinking 20 each, and he told me every dealer has different price. stealership indeed.

Hmmm... if this was the center set of seatbelt receptacles they come as a single unit for about $20. It is not two different parts! There is no computer stuff connected at all, just two bolts. I think only the front seatbelt receptacles are hooked up to the computers, not the rear ones.
