Question Are there any concerns/risks installing a custom exhaust on my CTT?

I'm considering having a custom exhaust installed on my CTT. My Bypass pipes just aren't loud enough for my taste.

It dawned on me that an aftermarket exhaust may end up damaging my turbo's due to lack of back pressure (and rob me of power).

Are my concerns valid?

Turbos don't like back pressure... you will be fine... I've had my custom exhaust on the car for close to a year. I bring it to the dealership for regular warantee and maintenance stuff and they have never given me a hard time....

Kimo- the pipes are staying on (In addition to the custom exhaust). I recall seeing a used set for sale in the 6 speed classifieds.

Alan - thanks for your input! I found a local shop in San Diego that's going to build my system.

does turbos really don't like back pressure? The opposite actually makes more sense to me.
