Modded Cayenne Turbo Owners...

Well I need to brush up on some cayenne turbo mods. I like to do as much research as possible before starting to mod anything. Anyways, I have searched the forums and come up with a few different software upgrades and was wondering if there is any one that you guys would recommend as being the best software out there. And then as far as exhaust systems go, what is the nicest sounding one out there. Loud is usually a good thing in my family.

TCM is infamous around these parts
Well, there are a lot of companies offering stuff for the Cayenne Turbo including Gemballa, TechArt, Cargraphic, Fabspeed, and more. GIAC and Gemballa both offer a chip upgrade to around 510bhp and Gemballa goes even further to offer a 700bhp kit that requires extensive modification of the engine and transmission. There is plenty of information on this forum about all of the offerings, especially exhaust. I am sure the owners will start offering their thoughts on products as well since they are car modifying junkies.

I have an upsolute ECU upgrade in my Cayenne Turbo. It was a substantial power increase to what the car already had. The car has constant power, and I would suggest the upsolute ECU fopr someone who wants to get more power. It was around $550-580 Shipped.

I also did a straight pipe conversion on my Cayenne Turbo. Basically, we hacked off the rear muffler. I liked this because it was affordable, and it sounds really good. If you said loud is good in your family, this is the way to go for you. For most, it would almost be too loud. It also livens the turbo whistle a lot, as with the straight piped exhaust, the turbos are almost just as loud as the exhaust!
