Aftermarket Trailer Hitch For GTS

Hey Guys,
So I have seen a couple aftermarket trailer hitches on here for Cayennes, but I don't know if any of them will fit the GTS and come through the factory cut out on the GTS bodykit! Does anyone have one that they know will come out of the factory cutout on the factory aerokit rear apron??
Thanks!
Evan

Not sure, I have the factory hitch and it requires some trimming of the rear fascia which requres a special template. FWIW it looks just like it rolled off the line.

There is a template on the back of the aerokit already for the factory hitch, thats not the issue. The issue if finding an aftermarket hitch that will come out that same hole in the template. I don't need a crazy expensive hitch or lighting kit to tow my little jetski around so I am trying to find automotive

On our 05 Cayenne the Curt MFG hitch is about 1/2" higher than the factory one. (I had to trim above the template line) The safety chain loops are flush with the bottom of the hitch.

So what I am trying to say is it should fit.....I do not think there is a GTS only hitch.

As far as wiring......Don’t mess around......just get the factor wire loom and computer.

Benefits of the factory wire loom and computer
1) Trailer wire is plugged in and you lock the doors.....if somebody tries to **** high your jet ski the factory alarm will go off.
2) When you are towing and have to go into a panic stop it the ABS will help stabilize the trailer
3) If you have a trailer light out you will get an !

I've got the factory hitch. The dealer put it on and had to cut about two inched out of the lower body work to fit it in. For someone who may be slightly OCD it could be a big problem. However, I don't mind because I use it to two fairly regularly. If I were in your shoes, I'd get mine from the dealer. I also have the factory wire loom and had no idea of some of those benefits that Triple B listed.^^

Hum, interesting. I did know there was no GTS only hitch, so I just need to find one that comes out in the same location as stock... I will look at the GTS tomorrow and see if it has a 1/2 inch of clearance above to cut over the stock template.

As far as wiring, honestly I wasn't going to do any as I only have to go 1 mile from my house to the ramp and you can see the tail lights on the truck no problem (and I don't tow at night). If I do though, I will get the factory harness
