BMW owns the SUV market with a vehicle that won't can't go off road, it is called the X5

 

ml outsells x5 but rides soft

 

ML is also better off road than the X5, and what doesn't ride better than a sport package X5?

 

I know I've seen so many posts in BMW forums people debating between X5 & Cayenne. I can not believe people even comparing between these two SUVs. X5 is just a plain old SUV while Cayenne is just a different animal.

One of our family friend, who owns VW twins, mentioned "why not just get VW, it's all same SUV" I was like WTF! I guess some people can be very insensitive to cars in general.

 

Depends on the model, the standard Cayenne S is priced very closely to the X5 and X6. Arguably the X6 is very comparable on the road handling wise to the S.

Now the Turbo pricing puts it in the rarified air of $100k SUV's...and we know there are only 2. One is alot more luxurious, the other eats other SUV's for lunch.

 

Range Rover HSE Superchaged- off road capable SUV, fast on road and is more luxurious.
G55- very capable off road, fast on road, far from luxurious
ML63- fast, pretty luxurious
Cayenne TT- Very Fast, pretty luxurious

 

I forgot about the G55, and the base for the ML63 is under $100k
