Confused on proper tire pressure

Just got an 09 Cayenne w/ 18" turbo wheels. The sticker by the door states 39psi/49psi while tires are cold. The manual states 35psi/39psi for all season 255/55 R18 (for partial load). Which one is correct?? There is such a big difference between the two...

Thx!!

sticker by the door is when on full load, partial pressures are good for all time driving with family. 35psi front/ 39psi rear. If you inflate them too much, ride will get bumpy, and tire wear will increase..

OK...Just checked my pressure this morning (while it's cold). The fronts are at 35psi but the rears are at 45psi. I guess I need to let out some air in the rear. Thanks everyone!!!
