I am averaging 15 MPG now when combining city and highway... slowly getting better. Seems like 1/10 of a mile to the gallon more each month..

congrats on the mod! any performance improvement? Do cat bypass pipes give noticeable improvement??

Apparently fabspeed bypass pipes give you around 15hp where the muffler gives you only 10hp

Installing the SS muffler does not violate the Federal Emission laws or raise legitmate warranty issues and concerns.

I didn't do a muffler mod for power and I don't think anyone on this board could tell the defference between stock and 15HP increase.

The throttle response improvement with the SS Performance Muffler is noticeable and I am sure comparable to the bypass pipes. Not much difference in the time or effort between comparing the two installs.

I like the sound of the SS muffler, I like the "shiney" and the fuel milaage improvement is a real bonus!
