Xenon Auto Leveling Error 09 CS

Hi All,
Just got a 09 cayenne s 3 weeks ago. The car has been in the shop for 8 days and now its going back again this week. Initially one of the headlights stopped working and dealer said it was a faulty controller unit. After they replace the unit, i got a different error message yesterday about auto leveling of the light. I turned off and on the car and never saw the error since then.
Is this one of the error messages that can be ignored?

Thanks advanced.

Id take it back even if it can be ignored. For what a 09 model cost it shouldnt have ANY messages.

On a side not a few times ive gotten a projector beam leveler message, but thats when we were out playing at night from red light to red light.. once i drove normal the message went away.

I get the error every few days after a stretch of road at high speed or after taking a hard corner and hitting a bump... once i turn the car on it resets itself, no biggie!

common problem?

I have had that message twice now - and only had the car a month! but like above - turn the ignition off and on and it always went away?

many other people have this or know why it does it? once it was parked - so I know it didnt get jolted!

I just picked up my 2009 "S" a couple of days ago and got this same error the 2nd day I had it. I will be bringing the vehicle to the dealer as soon as I am able to do so (about two weeks) so they can hopefully solve the problem.

I have notice that my xenons have not been auto leveling as much as they should, and as a result have been shining too high. I feel kind of bad because the lights are bright to the point that they are essentially blinding people when I am behind them.

Chances are your vehicles still have the error stored in the computer (your gonna have to look through the menu at the bottom, and its under vehicle information). I hope it is not a serious issue!

My 09 xenon controller was replaced, before it aimed too high as well and one side completed died. After the replacement i still got the error message and dealer said they had to "recalibrate" the light. Got the car back and so far so good.

Since you have a 09, can you do me a favor to check if your right hand side exhaust tip sticks out about half inch compare to the right? i have this issue and the dealer said all their 09s are like this.
