Hello all,

I am looking to buy a used Cayenne S. I need the V8 because I also intend to use it to tow my Malibu wakeboard boat. Since this will be a second vehicle, I would like to find something for around $25,000. I noticed that the 2004 Cayenne has black ground effects, and really would rather have the 2005 look having the same paint color as the rest of the vehicle. Has anyone addressed this? What are your recommendations if I were to end up with a 2004 instead of a 2005+?

I have heard 2005-6 are more reliable than 03-04; that's the reason why I specifically looked around and bought 06 CS. At the same time the interest rate was lower with 06 model from my credit union. (newer the lower the interest)

Thanks for the advice! With that in mind, I will probably steer my search towards the 2005-2006 models. It may be a few thousand more now, but if it's more reliable, it will probably pay off in the end.
