So I got a flat. I have 21" BBS wheels and I put on one stock wheel. Im not driving the truck, its just parked in the driveway. However will driving it to the tire shop to get my wheel put back on (3-4 miles away) when they get it in stock, will that mess anything up? The guy at discount tire said I need to get all new tires even though I have 70% tread left on the other 3 because of the AWD. I dont want to screw anything up. Thanks guys!

Driving on one stock wheel should not cause any problem. It is like using one spare. Just don't drive too fast.

I think the need to replace all 4 tires is BS. At most I can see replacing a set of both front or both rear tires. If you do that, don't let them throw away the undamaged tire. Keep it in case you may need it in the future.

I don't see the logic of replacing all 4 as the front and rear tires will wear out at different rate anyway.

BTW are you sure the flat is not repairable? is there another tire shop that you can go to?

as long as whatever wheel/tire you are putting on the pepper is the same diameter you will be fine.
If it is a smaller size, meaning, 20 inch, and the other three are 21 inch, I wouldn't, unless your drive is 100% straight with no turns.

Short distance you should be fine. Not an issue, but don't fall for changing all four tires. Thats just straight out bull****, and the guy is trying to take you for more $$

if you drive you car hard at high speeds it is always worth it to at least change 2 tires from a flat. yes it is unnecessary but it is also unnecessary to drive your car hard. I would even suggest changing all four if you have 10k or more miles on the rest. But I change my tires every 7,500 to 9,000 miles which is a bit excessive but i like to have clean kicks
