How to remove floorboard in '09 GTS?

I had some custom car stereo installed a few months ago. I think I blew a fuse and I need to get access to it by removing the floorboard on the drivers side. Has anybody done this? Advice?

p.s.
the car stereo dealer is 150 miles away so I want to try to do this myself

i dont think that any decent installer would "hide" a fuse somewhere its not easly acessable?
and on my 05 cayenne there is no "floorboard?" after lifting the mats up you can see the electrics, most are hidden under the seats in a chanel, or run along the "sill", there is no floorboard to be removed.
have you rang him to ask where he has located the fuses?

The fuse is most likely right by the battery. Move the driver seat all the way forward and you will see a black cover over the battery. Remove the cover and you should see the power wiring used for the amplifiers attached to the battery. The fuse holder should be some where under there.
