had a little drama on saturday.
i was noticing a slight smell from the air con, and in light of a few posts on here about cleaning/flushing the system, i bought a huge can of specialist cleaner, it came with about 3 feet of hose that connected to the airosol
im sure i read the distructions correctly
but obviously didnt.
anyway, i inserted the hose down each "vent" as far as i could and squirted the can for the required 10 seconds each.
it now said to leave for 10 minuites and then run the system on full to clean it through.
when i turned it on and turned it up full, every vent (about 20 of them) poured out thick foam, and it looked like a foam party inside the car.
took an hour to wipe down the interior.
still it does not smell anymore.
