Question About Satellite Radios

Has anyone installed a satellite radio on their Cayenne Turbo? What is the simplest possible install, if there is one. I'd prefer to make the fewest possible changes to the stock setup in order to get the satellite radio access.

Cool. Does it matter which satellite radio is used? Is it plug and play, i.e., work with the stock audio system?

Thanks Jamy.

I dont think it matters which satellite radio is used but make sure it fits before installing. You have two choices so that it works with your stock audio system. Your 1st choice is have an audio shop hardwire it to your speakers. Your 2nd choice is get an FM transmitter for your satellite radio, you will be able to hear it through a preset FM channel. It will save you from all the hassle to go to an audio shop to get it wired to your speakers. Hope this helps

Use the one called the "commander" (think its XM, forget sorry). Heard many good things about it, and they are the smallest satellite radio decks out there!

XM Commander by TERK is the smallest unit available on the market. I have one in my mercedes, and it is definitely small enough to be mounted out of the way. Unit costs about $125-$150. I'd recommend professional install ($75-$200 depending on the complexity of the install).
