What is recommended tire pressure for 20' GTS wheels/tires

Lately my Cayenne S with 20' GTS wheels feel very bumpy and tires seems very loud when even passing a small bump.. Overall ride feels smooth but I think something is wrong with my tires or their pressure.
I have them as 39 from and 47 rear.

Anyone is having the same issue?

i have 38 front and rear.
47 seems very high for the rear? the fronts need more if any (most of the weight is up front)

not sure though.

I've been running the factory recommended tire pressure, somewhere crazy like what MTRX said above (42-F & 50-R).
And what ONE234 siad, I agree.... the front would need more pressure in order to keep the engine bay weight rather than the rear.

I'm wondering,,, if the factory recommended tire pressure is for the performance reason. A person like me, who doesn't use my CS as a racer vehicle would really need to have that much air pressure on the rear tires or not. I know my BMW recommends the rear tire pressure to be slightly higher than the front due to the fact that it's a RWD, but CS being AWD,,, not so sure.

I might try slightly less than factory recommendation to see whether I can feel the difference or not.
