Fabspeed Mufflers? Who has them?

I have a set of Fabspeed mufflers an wondering if they should go on or not. They were given to me recently but I never had a chance to listen to what they sound like.

Anyone have just the mufflers on? How do you like it?

Thanks,
Chasen G.

Funny i just PMed a fellow member with the same question. Currently i have fabspeed bypass and bmc on my 09 CS. sounds good but not loud enough. From what i heard is that it is VERY loud and expensive sounding.

Also i'm still waiting to hear feedbacks on fabspeed bypass, muffler, bmc and ecu tuning as a package on a CS. I thought about doing the muffler and get the ecu tuned, but would like to hear some reviews first.

I have a 2008 Porsche Cayenne TT with Fabspeed 2ndary catbypass pipes, Maxflo Muffler with dual-polished tips, and EVOMSit ECU upgrade combined with their V-flow intake system.

I like the Maxflo Mufflers, they sound great when you push the gas pedal, and with normal driving the sound is not too loud, just right for driving through neighborhoods.

I am getting the dual-polished tips changed so that they are all the same size in the next couple of weeks or so.

Here's a link to the Fabspeed with the my vehicle on the top.

http://www.fabspeed.com/PDF_files/Cayenne%20Table.pdf

Since then, I have tinted the front windows to match the rears, added Escort 9500ci, and replaced the PCM with Kenwood DNX9140, and replaced the Bose speakers with Dynaudio.

I am getting the steering wheel replaced with an Alcantara wheel and am adding a lowering module to drop it a little further in sports mode.

All work was and will be performed by Fabspeed. They are great to work with. Ask for Jeremy D'avella. He's extremely responsive and helpful.

Exclamation

Hi guys (new member from sunny Costa Rica)...

I have a question about the pipes.

It's expensive to shipp & duty etc to CR so the idea is, have the pipes made here for around $200 installed (already asked).

I would only take my hudge back silencers of, cut the tips and have them putt back on straight pipes. Would that work or am I missing something big, like ECU readgustment or backpressure or what?

TIA
