Cayenne Turbo Question.

Could someone help me out with a few questions I have about Cayenne Turbos?

Difference between Turbo and Turbo S?
Is their any years I should stay away from?
And lastly what would be a good price to play for a Turbo S vs Turbo?

Thanks in advance.

I'm sure that everyone will have strong opinions on here, but here's the info that I gathered before I purchased my Cayenne TT:
1. Years to stay away from-- 03 and 04 (although 04 improved in the late production runs)
2. Turbo/Turbo S differences (03-06 models)- 450hp vs 520hp on the Turbo S. Turbo S also has an upgraded braking package, firmer suspension, and revised stability control system.

It's going to be tougher in terms of pricing right now since we are heading into winter, from what I have seen here's what I think (non-CPO)

05- 35-45 depending on mileage
06- 45-55ish
08- 80-85
Hope this helps!

Forgot to post, I would expect a 5-8k premium on the turbo s as well. Good luck with your search!

I agree on all the above. Picked up my 05 CTT last summer when gas prices were high. It had high miles but was pristine ext/int. Paid 38k plus ttl and picked up a ext wrrty for 4k which was worth the $.

A turbo S would have been nice but I was looking for somthing I could really beat into the ground on miles. My porsche tech tells me he sees then come in with 150k miles from time to time and running good.

Either one will be TIGHT! Good Luck with search.

I agree w/ TBird above, my original plan when I bought my '05 Cayenne TT this past summer was to keep it for a couple years and sell it for an '09 GTS. No knock intended on the GTS, but there is a huge difference b/t the S/GTS and the Turbo/Turbo S and it's unlikely that I would opt for the GTS.
