High Mileage Cayenne

What is everyone's advice onbuying a one owner - high mileage Cayenne?

Hve driven many as loaner vehicles - some with 30,000 miles that were not that impressive. My dealer has one with 88,000 miles driven by a local lady realtor. It drives like a dream - it is an S model with every option - $75,000 original sticker.

The dealer wants $24,000 - thinking of pulling the trigger - just wondering what folks think....

Looking for a good deal after putting $10K in my 964 this summer - runs like a dream now - if anyone needs a good lead on great Porsche mechanic - give me a shout!!!

Thanks!!

The only issue that would put a stop on your Cayenne would be the cheapo plastic coolant pipe failures, I haven't seen much of problems with Cayenne that would make you embarrassed other than the issue with the burst coolant pipes.

What does everyone here consider high mileage? Just bought a 05 Cayenne Turbo with 75K on the clock.

My Turbo has 80k and it drives great. I need to replace the rear hatch shocks. Otherwise no issues. The S is NA so you don't have to worry about popping a turbo. I don't know why people worry about miles on Porsches. My 964 has 90k and drives perfekt! These cars were engineered to win endurance races. I would buy it if it was in the shape/condition I find acceptable and the maintenance has been kept up.

I don't really worry too much about high mileage, as long as their in good condition. I figure if it has high mileage it spent more time being driven than more time in shop for repairs.

Been there, done that. $2000 repair bill out of warranty. All of the other issues are minor.

My 05 CTT has 81K on the clock and she drives perfect, if these cars didn't have high mileage I'd be worried to be honest, at least if they weren't cpo'd. It may drive like a sports car but it's not, it's an SUV use it for what it's worth and enjoy the drive.
