Ok, who's gotten a US Spec PCM 2.1 in an 05+ Cayenne Turbo? I've bought the Dension Gateway unit and the AVR but the AVR is not working, it goes in line with the can bus, the Gateway has been flashed properly to accept the AVR and VIM however it VIM still doesn't work. Has anyone done this setup or tried one of these modules such as, http://kufatec.com/index.php?main_pa...roducts_id=415 (no affiliation btw just something I found since the AVR does iPod video and I only need something like this apparently) , Anyone have the AVR setup working in the USA without one of these modules or what was the solution you've used. I've asked on the forum for help specifically with the AVR but have gotten no help as I don't think a lot of people have used it, the bmw forums seem to have some decent information but their systems are different than ours. A side note, dension stated after I sent them my bin files that the gateway is programmed right for the VIM but they have no idea why it doesn't work awesome customer support, NOT, don't buy anything dension that's for sure.

Thanks man, I was super excited for a moment last night when I checked this thread and went on their site and saw everything they have done for mercedes. I called this morning to be dissapointed when they said they have nothing for porsche at all. :sad face: I'm just going to rip this thing out of the car and be done with it, just run the dension gw500 and that's it. So much viewing vids while driving.

 

I had Video in motion when i rocked PCM 2.1

Here is a thread with pictures.... I was using a Alpine V-hub, which is a much older unit used to interface.....

I upgraded my head unit, twice since then and have gone with Pioneer aftermarket do video in motion couldnt be easier.
