BBS RXII question
I have BBS RXii's on my CTT. They are all 21x10.5 and all running 285/35/21 Michelin Diamaris Tires. My question is, can I run the 325/30/21 on the rear with the same wheels? Will it mess anything up? I will keep the 285/35's up front on the 10.5's and run the 325/30's on the rear with the 10.5's. If possile, and safe, I am going to order the tires. :D

arling, do you have any suggestions to why this would be bad? I know most people on the Cayennes are running the wider rear, and I like the look of the fatness out back, but if it is in any way bad for the car (abs, differential... ) I definetely wont do it. The 285's are plenty wide, but I think that the 325 rear would just be such a menacing look! Also, do you have any rear pictures so I can see the difference of the 325's? maybe some 285 vs. 325 pictures?? Thanks man, your the best .
(ps)- i may PM you about some prices on Cayenne "toys" -Harris Snodgrass |

Harris,
i didn't say it's bad, but we do things for a reason. if the look is ur main concern then go for it! ;) my take was u're running 4 same size wheel there is no need to go with different size tires. good thing is the Michelin Diamaris 285/35-21 & 325/30-21 have the same overall diameter of 28.9, that's one most important thing u need to watch out but seems like u'll be perfectly fine. i have some pics but don't have a direct shot. hope u can get the idea. |
