Do you guys knows if there is a difference between the transfer box from a cayenne to a cayenne s and a turbo,

my transfer box needed to be replace and would like to know if a reman or a used one from a regular cayenne or v8 would fit on my turbo

 

Hello, I'm a Porsche tech and just wanted chime in on this one. It's pretty un-common to see the whole transfer case need replaced. 1.have you checked to see if the recall needs done (there is two different recall's one for the whole case and one for the transfer case motor) 2.If you do need a case then there is no difference between the s and the turbo, the v6 transfer case is different. 3.Depending on the year and mileage you might try and contact Porsche for assistance. hope this is helpful

I have a 04 turbo so... I can source a transfer case from a S and it will fit? I assume within the first gen right

i think there was a thread on this not to long ago, and if i remember correctly, the transfer box is the same on the s and turbo, while the v6 is different. so im 90% sure you can just pick one up from an S and itll be fine

 

what did your friend do to damage the box?

 

Can i use a rurbo s transfercase for v6 model
