SCORE! New Navi system!
SCORE! New Navi system!
Once in a while, a CD would want to eject to only a 1/4" out of the player, so you couldn't grab it and pull it out before it would suck back in. I told the service manager about it and he says, "No problem, I will order a new PCM Nav unit for you and that should fix it!" AWESOME! Goodbye scratch that was on the screen when I bought it! We only have 28k on the car and its an 06 Cayenne. I am pretty excited about this little "upgrade"

Technically all that was replaced was the head unit(PCM unit), not the navi unit. The navi unit on the 2006 is under the passenger front seat(DVD based navi). In Reborn996's case(CD-based navi), the nav "module" is a small approx 1"x2"x4" module that slides into the head unit from the back side with the blue connector on it for the GPS, which typically gets swapped over when the PCM unit is replaced.
