Thumbs up You guys are gonna LOVE me! Well, the ones that have the start problem...

Some of us have the issue when we turn the key it does not start the first time so have to turn back and on again. By chance I found a way to start first time EVERY time!

1)Put your key ALL the way in and don't turn it, wait at least 5 seconds.
2) After the 5 seconds depress the brake and turn the key, it will start!

It's kinda like a slow computer to take a command. Maybe someone here knows why this is as I am curious. I feel like my Cayenne is more of a pet than a car, "my piggy". For those that are thinking, why don't you just take it to the dealer....In my experience the dealer is a rip off, so will only use them for an absolute last resort. Anyway, this is no big deal at all as I can fasten my seat belt and adjust my seat while waiting those 5 seconds

Interesting find, have you tried to disconnect your battery and see if that restarts the computer that is running slow? I had some computers on my first 997 and the dealer reset them by disconnecting the battery and things worked well. Also my Touareg (Cayenne's sister) just came out of the shop for another issue, and they had disconnected the battery (clock was off) and the starting of the car seemed lazy before and better now.

Hmmm,,, interesting, I usually put my key into the ignition as soon as open the door, which take me more than 5 seconds to sit and turn on the ignition. Maybe the reason why I've never had a problem.
