Can I run 255-55-18 in Front and 275-40-20 on Rear ?
Hi,
Due to some particular circumstances, I had to stop running my cayenne until replacement parts arrives. However, it may take a while and I was wondering if I can run 255-55-18 on the front axel and 275-40-20 on the rear axel. That would be a possible setup for me at this particular moment.
Thanks

I might combine different tires in a pinch but I would keep my speed super low and limit how much I drove that way. But, I have three full sets; two in 18's and one in 20's. I think I will carry one or two of the other 18"s for full spares when I take her off road.
Certainly, the SUV's electronics are going to have a fit trying to sense huge differences like what you are considering. Not only is it more dangerous, it might cause other problems. How are you going to set your PCM? You'll have to choose one size of tires over another--it does not allow a lot of variance, especially in staggered sizes on a non-Cayenne TurboS.
