techart 22 wheels

I just purchased a set of techart 22 wheels with tires. Is it important to have a porsche dealership put them on the car, or can your local guy do it? Is there anything special that needs to be done to the car before mounting them on the car? Please advise

I would not use anyone unless they use a hunter road force balance machine. Another issue is the shop's ability to deal with 22" rims. Better check it out. When someone doesn't know what they are doing, they can easily destroy the finish on your shiny new wheels.

well said

are the tires already mounted and balanced? If yes, I can recommend you shops or people who can help you out on this as you live in Boston. There are some really good shops around here. Let me know! Congrats and you gotta share pictures with us.

Any shops can do it as long as they do not use machine drill to tighten the bolts, ask them to do it manually and slowly

But I will still go to my detailer, he is very careful with the cars
