I'm taking delivery of a new CT with 19" wheels. I'll use it for trips from the Bay Area to Lake Tahoe, so I need tires that are decent for dry and wet pavement and also snow. In other words, all-around tires. There are currently no Pirelli Snow & Ice 19" (255/50R19) left anywhere in the U.S., so I'm getting a recommendation to go with 18" (235/60R18) Dunlop Grand Trek. Does anyone have any experience with the Grand Treks? From the reviews that I've read they rate highly for snow traction but a somewhat noisy.

 

hm... I just bought a set of winter tires. I can't remember what they are LOL! Let me double check, I am positive that it is the Dunlop Grand Trek, I have been using it for 3k miles and not noisy. I decided to go with 255/55/18

 

You want dedicated snows if you drive much in the Sierra.
