Had a tough time getting my rusted 03 CTT secondary cats off for my fabspeed exhaust and now have exhaust leaks in both. Tried mig welding and it was just too hot for the thin flex pipe. Car sounds like a 84 Chrysler.

Replacing the primary cats seems extreme, what other options do I have that anyone has done? Getting custom pipes with highflows sounds interesting, but that seems like a lot of work.

To replace the cats has to be $$$$. Dealer said $900 for labor alone.

Let me know your thoughts/ideas!

 

EVOMS has high flow primary cats for the GT700 kit....

I believe the last time I checked they were around 2500, not installed....

 

I imagine install would be $900. One side looks easy-ish, the other very not easy... I would think high flow primaries and no secondaries would be pretty good for total hp.
