Not being able to measure myself at the moment, I'd be very happy of someone could give me a exact width of the car with the side mirrors folded and unfolded. I think my carpenter screwed up my garage

I have a 05, but afaik it's only the 2011 that's a little wider, so i think any previous model width would do :-)

I called my local Porsche dealer, but he couldnt tell me if the wikipedia width (1,928 mm / 75.9 in) was with or without side mirrors, so he wasnt much help :-)

According to the user manual Cayenne's width: 75.9in (1928mm), I have a feeling that this is excluding the side mirrors.

 

Yeah, that's what im afraid of - hence why I'd love to get some dimensions from someone :-)

I wont have much room to get in, if that's the with excluding the side mirrors. The last inches or centimeters are depending on you, atlshaver!

my notes on my 08(from shopping for a lift) read 76 inches to outside of wheels and 88 inches outside of mirrors.
the mirrors folded might save you 4 a side so figure 84.

the lift is about 90 inches wide and the cayenne fits, but its tight.

 

Eek, with 88 inches outside mirrors, it gives me less than 4 inches to spare when driving into the garage. Guess i need to ask him for a few modifications if the wife is going to drive it in safely :-P

Folding the mirrors doubles the room though - but i'd prefer to have them unfolded when going out again backwards. Thanks, z145433 - at least it can get in

Yeah, that poor guy only have 2,36 inches - throughout the whole garage! Luckily my 4-inch issue is only through the garageport - got plenty of room inside, hehe.
