Working on CTT purchase

Well, guys, after months of flip flopping between a couple of options......replace my Jeep Wrangler with either a G500 or a CS/CTT.......or replace my Z3 Coupe with either an Elise or a C6 (yes, I've made threads regarding these cars on 6speed), I'm more or less decided on getting a CTT. In fact, I've found one, had my friend check it out, and am currently working with the seller on the steps to acquire it and have it shipped out to my location.

It is a 2005 CTT, fully optioned, 71k miles. Looks extremely clean with all paperwork, records and carfax.

The reason why I went with the CTT over the G500 (which I wanted badly) is because the G500 closely resembles the LR3 that I already have of which eventually will be replaced by an LR4. And having a 996 for myself, I think a CTT complements it well and something that my wife could drive as well (she hates the Wrangler and though she likes the 996, she doesn't want to drive it and ride in it). So, the 996 for me and the CTT for her.

Eventually, the decision was between the Elise or the CTT. Completely different vehicles with extreme opposite of each other. However, I believe I needed more time to do research on the Elise. I did decide I wanted it much more than the C6, and when the time comes I'm ready to get another sports car, it may end up as another choice between an Elise and possibly a 993......either cars my wife would hate. So, make the wife happy first with the CTT (she misses her X5), then get another car that she would definitely not ride in.

Hope I'm making a right decision and if the sale is finalized, we'll be seeing more of each other here in the Cayenne forums.
