Hey guys, my parents are looking at new cars right now and are considering the Cayenne. I told them to get a Turbo, but they aren't really into that sort of thing. They refer to me when they need car help, so I figured I'd ask here.

Basically, they are fine with the non-S version, but are worried that the resale value of the 6 cylinder. Has anyone had a problem selling their non-S Cayenne? Also, in general, is the Cayenne a good reliable car? I've heard they have their fair share of electrical gremlins, so they might just go with an MDX.

And, if anyone is considering selling their Cayenne for a good price in California, let me know . Thanks guys!

 

Arling is selling his turbo for a good price. Those minor problems shouldnt hold you back from purchasing a cayenne. Go for it!

 

THey are not minor problems and i would not order one. If I were to buy one (and I would not), I would get one off the lot and try to test drive it extensively.

All of the problems may not be an issue for some people but for me, it is like a science project. Feels more like a computer with the associated software issues than a car or truck.
