They dropped the ball on this one for sure, could have done better than that, I'm pretty sure in about 3-4 yrs, Porsche will definitely focus on face-lifting the rear end.

I see opportunity; create new tailgate design and remove remaining tail light on rear quarter panels with a mean looking GT2/3 louver design, Opportunity knocking for those who have the means and operation to start molding>>>> would be a big seller IMHO, the rest of the vehicle is A+

I AM REALLY WANTING A BETTER TAILGATE, drop down to become very utilitarian. I would say look to more designs from Africa and Australia in how they create their vehicles.

I'm in total agreement....

The rear just kills it for me. Not aggressive or mean at all. Looks like I'm sticking with the GTS styling for a while.

Hyundai's styling is so "aggressive" against others that even Mercedes is running billboards against buying "copies" to their product.

You think the SUV's are blatant, check these out!

I think it's pretty obvious who they are referring too...

Don't get me wrong.. The new one is a bad **** to drive and the upgrades on the inside are a huge plus over the older one. The a$$ of the new one just looks more like a Hyundai then a 100+K Porsche....

If your RUF blew by me I would say damn that's sick.... The new one... Not so much...

The rear didn't bother me that much in pictures but I just went and saw it in person this past weekend and I didn't like it at all. Interior is amazing though!

Don`t u dare to compare a piece of junk to the glorious new Cayenne.
And apart from the colour of the tailights both rears look totally different.

I totally agree about the split tailgate. My X5 and LR3 got those. They are easier to open and close, doesn't require as much clearance, can serve as a bench for tailgating parties, stuff won't accidentally roll out when the hatch is opened, less chances to hit the rear bumper on loading.
