2009 Cayenne pricing

I was out comparing a MB GLK to an Audi Q5 on Friday, when I saw a 2009 Cayenne the dealer had been using as a demo. 4000 miles. The color combo is what I was looking for (white on beige), nicely optioned with most of what I want, except for a back-up camera or sensors. Soft leather, Nav, preferred package, 18" turbo wheels, XM radio. Sticker was 63,795. Dealer asking for $54,500. I was hoping to get them down to $49,000, but I'm not sure if that is possible.
Any thoughts? I find it difficult to compare prices online with such a wide range of options on these cars.

As mentioned, the model is critically important. That said, just looking at the numbers you provided, $54,500 is 85.4% of MSRP and $49,000 is 76.8% of MSRP. At auction, the base Cayenne goes for about $39-42K, the Cayenne S about $48-54K, GTS $70K. Basically, the price is correct for a S, high for a base, and low for a GTS.

Sorry. V6. No S, GTS, or anything else after the 'Cayenne'. I thought they might be a little high. Looks like the 2011's are out already. The guy I bought my 997 from will be there Monday.

Even with the low miles, I think your offer of $49K is still a bit high.

Thanks for the responses. We are going to go with a GLK - I don't think my wife wants the porsche as a dd. I definitely think it's a great car - made even better for the 2011 model year.
