Took all dam day. I though " Ahh a couple a hits with the red and we are done . . . .. NOPE. Dam thing fought me all the way. The silver letters had some kind of clear on them and it was chipping. It also was all in the indentations around the letters but you could not see it until you painted it and then it looks horrible. I had to strip it down to nothing and start again. Finally got it right on the 3rd try.
I was going to do one more wet sand of the clear, but I waved myself off as thats what screwed me up the second time.
If anyone knows where I can get some cool aluminum TBar clamps for my intakes, please let me know. Would LOVE it if vivid racing would make a silicon colored kit for this thing. BTW - I run naked all the time (No cowlings).
