My passenger side rear view mirror, on my 2008 Cayenne, glass is broken. Just the external glass, everything else seems okay. Can just the glass be replaced or do I need the entire base, (part that holds the glass)?

Many different kinds of glass...aspheric, concave, etc...but it is an individual part.

Thank You, great link. Should be much cheaper than I expected, just being able to buy the mirror. I think the mirror is different on mine, a lot of wires and an additional plate that is not shown on the drawing.

 

All the mirrors have electronics on the back - they control the auto dimming function.
