GTS exhaust on a Turbo?

I haven't been able to find much info on this.

I love the GTS exhaust which gets louder when the Sport button is pressed. It sounds glorious! Has anyone tried fitting this exhaust to a Turbo model such that the exhaust baffles are still opened by hitting the sport button?

Let me know if anyone has experience with this. Thanks,

I did put a 2008 GTS exhaust on my 2004 Cayenne Turbo without issues. The main pipes were a tad smaller on the GTS exhaust (they fit snuggly into my factory 2004 downpipe) but worked out fine. Since my turbo did not have the sport button it is just "loud" all the time which sounded real nice with no drone!

I do not have the Cayenne anymore so no sound clips available.

Do you remember how the valve in the exhaust operates? Is it an electrical switch or vacuum valve. Just trying to determine if it could be hooked up to the sport button.

As I remember it uses a vacuum line for control... the actuator looks just like a wastegate on a turbo. Without a vacuum line attached it is defaulted to open / loud. Even in this mode it is not too loud for daily use.

Thanks for the info. I'll see if I can find out what actuates the vacuum on the GTS. The wife wants a quiet car so this would be the best of both worlds if I can get it to work.
