tow package with brake lights problem
Hi,
I have the factory tow package on my cayenne. The issue I'm having is that I went to rent a trailer with 4 wire plug. I have the pollack adapter to 4 wire plug but i got an error light on the console and furthermore the brake lights didn't work.
I was trying to figure out the logic behind that and here's what I don't understand.
In a 4 wire setup... 1 - ground 1- left 1 right 1 parking = 4 wires. Therefore the brake and turn signals share a bulb. The turn signals worked fine, the parking lights worked fine, but the brake lights just didn't work.
Help?
