Question Clear Sidemarker install

Hey,

I just order some clear side marker lenses, and wanted to know if its is easy to perform the swap myself, or if I should just get it done by a professional of some sorts.

If it is easy, anyone know what needs to be done?

Thanks

Nate

Not easy if your not too mechanically inclined. Need to remove part of the wheel liner(unscrew torx scews and pull it back to get access to the two torx screws hold the unit in place. The bottom screw is easy to get at, the top one is not. Good luck.

The top torx screw is a b!tch. The good news is, once you figure out one side, the other side is a piece of cake!

yeah but it will take you at least 30-40 minutes to figure out everything and install them. Also your hands might get scratched a lot there really is not that much room to work with. I just asked at the delaership and they told me the correct way to do it is to take off the front bumper and install them so that would be so much money that I did it myself. Just make sure you go buy some of those star shpaed screw drivers to take the wheel liner off. The screws holding the markers however are regular phillips i think

All the screws are torx screws. You will strip them if you use a phillips or allen.
