Hey All,

does anyone have a pic of their bumper plugs on their Cayenne Turbo?

the part of the bumper on the turbo in question, is significantly narrower than that of the V6 or Cayenne. I want to order the ones from Eric@bumper plugs, but I'm not sure if they'll fit properly on the turbo.

Eric has been very helpful, but doesn't have any pics on hand of them installed on a turbo.

he says the plugs are about the size of a dime. In the pic, I place a dime over the hole and there is a gap at the top.

please help a brother out!

 

what about the factory plug for 996s. what color is the pepper? i'm not sure the factory plug can be order later but if u can get them they'll be smaller than Eric's.

do you happen to know how much smaller are the factory 996 ones?

I might try and give my dealer hell for drilling them in the first place.
but it's been 6 mos since I got it...

too bad the law requires front plate here, so the dealer won't take care of it. well, i told them i don't want the freaking hole if u drill it i won't take the car

anyway, i have the part number for u. it's 996 701 811 00 92U. this should match ur car perfectly if they come pre-painted.

So I thought I'd test it out and pulled off the factory ones that came with my 996 and voila, they fit!

so the the color from the part number you gave me will match Crystal silver perfectly? you're the best...

what color code is that for? not polar silver is it?

nah brother, it's not Harris'. We got it new when we traded my wife's 6 month old Cayenne V6 for it. What a difference!

the plugs i got were from my 03 Turbo. car was arctic silver so i'd think it'll match pretty good. the 92U is the arctic code just not sure if u can get it from Porsche.
