Need a 285-35-22' tire recommendation for a 08' Cayenne GTS

Looked threw the Search but was unable to find much info. If anyone is running this tire size on their Cayenne please give me a little info on them. Looking for a mid priced tire that is on the quieter and softer side. Tread life is not that important. Thanks for your time!

I am currently considering the Hankooks for my GTS - found a great deal at this site and the tires normally get good to excellent reviews...

285/35/22 is a full inch taller than your stock tire. Is there a specific reason for this size as 295/30/22 is a much closer fit in size to stock.

I had problems running the 285/35/22, and I returned the wheels/tires to the retailer.

I would prefer not to have that low profile of a tire. I would rather have more side wall. I would rather buy the 295/35/22 but really there is only the Yokohama's available and they are $400 a tire. Its a daily driver so not to worried about loosing a little performance over aesthetics. I have the proper set up on another car to take care of my speed fix.
