I'm surprised nobody mentioned the reverse correlation between the smile on your face and the flashing red/blue lights behind you...

 

I didn't forget, thats why I have a K40 calibre system installed in my cars. Noticed you are in VA and radar detectors illegal which is total BS!

I was advised to forgo the LCA and adaptive cruise control if I want the system on the new turbo because of possible interference. Honestly, I RARELY ever use cruise control and have no use for the adaptive variety. The LCA is cute but I'm not going to rely on it completely and not look over my shoulder anyway to change lanes... besides, I'm the one gonna be doing the passing

I kinda think Porsche is offering too many gimmicks that separate driver from control of machine ... am I alone here??

 

Fjs, I hear ya on the gimmicks but think about it .. With all the texting, personal grooming, fondling, smooching, it only takes one small mishap to ruin your car/day. IMO these safety aids are just a little insurance which you may never ever need. Again there is no substitute for defensive driving.

 

defensive driving is KEY ... with a sprinkle of offensive driving .. hey, it's still a PORSCHE
